Understanding Kia Forum Parking Options
The Kia Forum, a legendary indoor arena in Inglewood, California, hosts a wide array of events, from concerts and sporting competitions to special gatherings. Because of its popularity, parking at the Forum requires careful planning to avoid headaches and inflated prices. Understanding the available options is the first step in making an informed decision.
Kia Forum Official Parking Lots
The Forum offers several official parking lots located within walking distance of the venue. These lots provide the most convenient access, but they also tend to be the most expensive.
- Forum Parking Lots: These lots are the closest to the venue and offer premium parking experiences.
- Hollywood Park Casino Parking: An alternative option, often slightly less expensive but still within a reasonable walking distance.
Alternative Parking Solutions Near the Kia Forum
If you’re looking to save money, several alternative parking solutions exist, although they might involve a longer walk or require using ride-sharing services.
- Off-Site Parking Lots: Numerous independent parking lots are located within a mile or two of the Forum. These lots usually offer lower rates than the official Forum lots, but their availability can vary depending on the event.
- Street Parking: Street parking is extremely limited and often restricted, especially during events. Avoid street parking unless you are absolutely certain it’s permitted, as ticketing and towing are common.
- Ride-Sharing Services: Uber, Lyft, and taxi services are readily available in the area. This eliminates the need to find parking altogether, but be aware that surge pricing can occur during peak times.
