State government affairs professionals from AMD, Cisco, Dell, eBay, HP, Microsoft, Motorola, National Semiconductor, Philips, Research in Motion, QUALCOMM, Sun, Yahoo!, and many other AeA member companies attended the semi-annual AeA/SGA's State Policy Action Network (SPAN) Conference between August 14-15^th in Nashville, Tennessee.

Key Policy issues discussed included:

• Broadband;
• E-Commerce & Online Safety;
• E-Waste;
• RFID;
• State Government Procurement; and
• Tax.

Timed to coincide with the National Conference of State Legislature's (NCSL) 32^nd Annual Meeting, recap the 2006 legislative session, and plan for the upcoming 2007 session; this has become a must-attend conference for all state policy professionals.
