Bob Bilbrough Biography

Bob Bilbrough (age 44) is a founder, Director and President of Qualcon. Mr. Bilbrough is the Council Chair of the Southeast Council of AeA (formerly American Electronics Assn.) Mr. Bilbrough is National Chairman of the AeA Small Business Advisory Task Force. Mr. Bilbrough is a member of Georgia’s exclusive Technology Executives Roundtable, a member of Atlanta’s High Tech CEO Council and a member of Circuits Assembly Magazine’s Editorial Review Board. In December of 1998, the IPC invited Mr. Bilbrough to address their annual Presidents’ Meeting in Phoenix . Mr. Bilbrough’s presentation entitled CFM in the Electronics Manufacturing Services Industry was selected as the single best idea from the conference by the participants. In October 2000, Mr. Bilbrough received the inaugural Georgia Technology Leadership Award in the Technology Application field, sponsored by Georgia Governor Roy Barnes and SciTrek. Mr. Bilbrough currently serves as Chair of the Greater Hall County Chamber of Commerce’s Technology Committee.

Prior to Qualcon, Mr. Bilbrough spent sixteen years with Arrow Electronics, Inc. in various management positions including operations manager, product marketing manager, corporate training director, region and area manager for industrial computer products, corporate marketing manager, and division general manager.

A 1978 B.S. and B.A. graduate of Wake Forest University (Winston-Salem, NC USA), Mr. Bilbrough is immediate past president of the Fair Street School PTA (Gainesville, GA USA), vice-chairman of the Gainesville Middle School Citizens Advisory Council, a member of the Board of Directors of Delta Kappa Epsilon International and a member of Gainesville First United Methodist Church, where he also serves as president of the New Bridge Sunday School Class.
