The Endurance International Group Positioned for Continued Growth with Sale to Accel-KKR

- One of the World's Largest Providers of Web Hosting and Online Applications and Services to Grow Customer Base and Diversify Service offerings -

BURLINGTON, Mass., Oct. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- The Endurance International Group ("Endurance") today announced that Accel-KKR, a technology-focused private equity firm, has purchased a majority equity stake in the company. The acquisition positions Endurance to continue to grow through both acquisitions and organic marketing, and to diversify its product portfolio.

With a multi-brand approach that provides web hosting and online applications and services to various markets, including small- and medium-sized businesses, individual consumers, non-profits groups and large enterprises, Endurance has grown to become the fourth largest provider of web hosting and online applications and services worldwide and ranks among the top 10 for domain names under management.

Endurance's CEO Steve Sydness and Executive Vice Presidents Hari Ravichandran and Thomas Gorny, along with their senior management team, continue to hold a significant equity stake in the company and will remain in their current positions. Working with Accel-KKR, Endurance will continue its growth strategy, while putting an emphasis on consistently improving the customer experience and providing a variety of products that will enhance their Web presence.

Steve Sydness, CEO of Endurance, said, "As we begin the next chapter of growth for our company, we are delighted to partner with Accel-KKR, a firm with a long track record of helping to build great technology businesses. We are proud of the leading brands and worldwide customer base we have developed and are confident the best is yet to come for our company -- and for our customers. Our industry remains a highly fragmented one and we are well-positioned to continue growing organically and through acquisitions. We look forward to working with Accel-KKR as we pursue our growth strategy."

Ben Bisconti, Managing Director of Accel-KKR, said, "The Endurance team has built the critical mass required for continued rapid and profitable expansion, a highly scalable platform that will facilitate this growth, and a unique infrastructure that allows Endurance to serve an increasing customer base with outstanding levels of service. This is an exceptional team and a well-positioned business, and we are pleased to be investing behind both."

Mitch Haber, Vice President of Product Management for Endurance added, "I am particularly excited about what the Accel-KKR partnership means for our customers. With the additional resources the team at Accel-KKR provides, we'll be even better able to address the needs of our customers. We will be adding new products that will help customers work more efficiently and cost effectively -- as well as enhancing the products and services we provide today. This partnership will help us deliver the applications and services our customers need to improve the way they manage their web sites, email, productivity, and their businesses in general. We're now better positioned to pursue our strategy of providing customers with 'best-in-breed' applications and services. We look forward to doing so more rapidly and to working with partners who can help us achieve our goals."
