Next Inning Technology Previews Earnings for SunPower, Cypress Semiconductor, Fairchild Semiconductor International, and Nokia

PRINCETON, N.J., Oct. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Next Inning Technology Research (http://www.nextinning.com), a subscription service focused on semiconductor and technology stocks, announced it has updated outlooks for SunPower (Nasdaq: SPWRA), Cypress Semiconductor (NYSE: CY), Fairchild Semiconductor International (NYSE: FCS), and Nokia (NYSE: NOK).

In his extensive August 22nd Strategy Review, Next Inning Editor Paul McWilliams not only predicted the decline in stock prices we've endured during the last six weeks, he also described the catalysts. In a special report published September 10th, McWilliams provided readers with a list that included fundamental data on 66 tech stocks and his suggestions on which to buy and which to avoid. To read what McWilliams thinks investors should do next and receive copies of his in-depth earnings previews, please accept our invitation to take a complimentary test-drive by visiting the link below.

In his earnings preview, McWilliams wrote: "The reason I think being mentally prepared for the upcoming earnings season is more important than usual is that we're at an intersection where it's very difficult to predict how even the well known variables will interact... As I look at this earnings season, it's difficult to predict how cautious companies will be in Q4 guidance and equally perplexing to judge how investors will perceive risks..."

McWilliams also looks at these topics:

-- What arbitrage opportunity should SunPower investors be aware of? What three factors might make SunPower an attractive investment?

-- Why might Fairchild perform better than its peers in the event of a market recovery?

-- After Wall Street turned sour on Nokia, what two factors could work in the company's favor going forward?

Founded in September 2002, Next Inning's model portfolio has returned 186% since its inception versus 42% for the Nasdaq.
