Anne M. Caliguiri joined the AeA as Director of Communications in October 2005. Based in the Association’s Washington, DC office, she oversees all aspects of AeA’s national media operations and public relations for the DC, Santa Clara and 18 regional council offices. 

Prior to joining AeA, Caliguiri served as a worldwide spokesperson for the Motion Picture Association (MPA), the international arm of the Motion Picture Association of America, Inc. (MPAA), in the organization’s Hollywood office. 

A native of Pittsburgh, Caliguiri has worked in public and media relations for several years. After beginning her career in the corporate communications department of America Online, Inc. (AOL) in the company’s Dulles, VA headquarters, Caliguiri moved to Santa Monica, CA and held a position at Golin-Harris International before accepting an offer to join the MPA in 2002. 

Caliguiri is a 2001 graduate of Bethany College, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications. She currently resides in Washington, DC.
