AeA Midwest Council Expands Executive Board 

Chicago, IL (10/19/2005) – The Midwest Council of the AeA (formerly known as the American Electronics Association) has announced that John Thode, President and CEO, ISCO International (AMEX:ISO), Joe Cross, President & CEO, Nanophase Technologies (NASDAQ:NANX), Bob Blee, Senior Relationship Manager, Silicon Valley Bank (NASDAQ:SIVBE), and Monica Mueller, Manager of State Government Affairs, Motorola (NYSE:MOT), were selected to serve on the AeA Midwest Council Executive Board. 

The AeA Midwest Council serves member companies in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. As members of the Midwest Board, participating executives will help lead the overall strategy and high-tech initiatives of AeA in the Midwest region. 

"We are delighted to strengthen the AeA Midwest Council with outstanding leaders from the industry and the investment community," said Marty Singer, Chairman of the AeA's Midwest Council. "The AeA will continue to represent the interests of technology companies and promote the Midwest as an outstanding region to develop technology businesses," added Singer. 

Additional members of the AeA Midwest Council Executive Board include: Marty Singer, Chairman & CEO, PCTEL, Inc. and current Chairman of AeA's Midwest Council; T. Kendall Hunt, Chairman & CEO, VASCO Data Security, Inc. (NASDAQ:VDSI); Michael Schamberger, Partner, Grant Thornton; Bob Nelson, Independent Consultant; Carol Bernstein, Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel, Cabot Microelectronics (NASDAQ:CCMP); Anthony T. Wilson, Director of Midwest Government Affairs, Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT); and At-Large Board member, William Weissman, EVP & CFO, Kanbay International (NASDAQ:KBAY).
