2000 Math & Science Scores
2000 Math Scores The "No Child Left Behind" Act requires that all 4th and 8th graders must be proficient in mathematics in 12 years. Currently, only 25% of 4th graders and 27% of 8th graders nationwide are proficient in mathematics.
2000 Science Scores The "No Child Left Behind" Act requires the states to begin testing science proficiency in the 2006-2007 school year. Currently, only 30% of 4th graders and 32% of 8th graders are proficient in science.
