Commercial Risks of Doing Business
in China, Malaysia, & India
Wednesday, November 7, 2007

On Wednesday, November 7, 2007 the AeA Silicon Valley/Northern CA Council, sponsored by White & Case, hosted Control Risks, an independent risk consultancy agency, on the commercial risks associated with doing business in China, Malaysia, and India.  Dane Chamorro, Control Risks' General Manager of their Greater China and Northeast Asia Office and Director of Corporate Investigations, delivered the presentation and answered questions during an extensive and dynamic Q&A session that lasted over 45 minutes.

Dave provided an analysis of the commercial risks in China, Malaysia, India, and several other southeast Asian countries of interest to the attendees.  He provided attendees with the "four C's" that companies doing business in this region should be aware of and addressing, and presented correlating case studies.

Attendees included upper-level management and executives from companies such as Cisco Systems, California Micro Devices, Dolby Laboratories, Electronic Arts, National Semiconductor Corporation, ShoreTel, and Sunrise Telecom.
