The AeA Silicon Valley/Northern California Council awarded Assemblyman Guy Houston with the AeA Silicon Valley/Northern California High-Tech Legislator of the Year Award for his outstanding support of AeA's priority issues in 2007 on February 22, 2008.  The award presentation, sponsored by Varian,  was held as part of a 2008 California legislative update and award breakfast.

Assemblyman Guy Houston was joined by AeA's California Government and Public Affairs staff and Gus Rivera, Intel's Sales Tax Manager and AeA's Tax Committee Chair.  Together they provided AeA member companies with a review of the last legislative session and a look ahead.
