About the Program
  • Between 2000 and 2006, US Tech Exports to China more than tripled from $4.6 billion to $14.1 billion
  • Only the United State's two NAFTA partners, Mexico and Canada, are larger export destinations for American tech products than China

Opportunities for high tech companies to expand into the China market continue to grow.
Our panel will offer practical insights into:

  • what the government of the area's largest economy is proposing to maintain its high tech growth

  • plans for the upcoming U.S. Pavilion at the China High Tech Fair Oct 12 - 17 in Shenzhen, a great opportunity for high tech companies not yet on the ground, an effort AeA is co-organizing with a partner organization under the Chinese Ministry of Commerce

  • update on ICT industry developments in China, with focus on telecoms, software, semiconductor & IT services

  • recent macro policy development and US - China developments

  • results of a four-city study on tier-two cities in these areas, basically identifying high potential markets for US SMEs to sell into

  • how companies are handling IP and other legal and tax concerns in approaching these markets

  • what resources are available to help you develop partners and grow partners and grow business in China

  • operating and investing in China

  • how to develop a practical roadmap for success in this important and growing market
