Ms. Becky Linder

Becky Linder is Policy Advisor for the AeA-Advancing the Business of
Technology in Cooperation with the U.S. Information Technology Office (USITO).
Based in Beijing, China, Ms. Linder is responsible for organizing high-tech
industry positions and advocacy on Chinese environmental and trade policy
issues affecting the global technology sector. Prior to moving to Beijing,
Ms. Linder worked as Director of International Trade Policy at AeA-Advancing
the Business of Technology. While based in Washington, D.C., Ms. Linder
worked closely with the high-tech industry to build an effective strategy
for responding to global RoHS type regulations in China, Korea, Japan,
Australia and the United States. Prior to joining AeA in April 2004, Ms.
Linder worked as Senior Legislative Assistant for Congressman Cass
Ballenger.
Ms. Linder holds a Master’s degree in Commercial Diplomacy from the Monterey
Institute of International Studies, Monterey, California. She received her
Bachelor’s degree with departmental honors in political science from
Lenior-Rhyne College in Hickory, North Carolina. Ms. Linder also studied in
Beijing, China.
