Mr. Guikema has 11 years of management consulting experience focused on environmental compliance strategy.  Since 2001, when the EU’s REACH (Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals) white paper was released, Mr. Guikema has been one of the most visible and reliable intellectual resources for senior management of North American manufacturers on REACH.  He has chaired several REACH committees for international industry groups and standards organizations, developing processes and approaches for addressing this new requirement.  He enjoys interacting with executives and helping these decision makers shape corporate environmental policy. This role affords him insights into the strategies which corporations are selecting for compliance with global environmental regulations.  Mr. Guikema has a BS and MS in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry from the University of Michigan and is employed by Tetra Tech.
