David T. Farina, Principal and Co-Head of the Technology Investment Banking Group, joined William Blair & Company in 1992 and became a Principal in 1996. David joined the Corporate Finance department after serving as head of the Technology Research Group. David spent 13 years in Equity Research covering software, services, and digital entertainment companies before moving to Corporate Finance. Prior to joining William Blair & Company, Mr. Farina worked as a systems engineer for Pansophic Systems/Computer Associates. He received his undergraduate degree in chemistry from Princeton University, where he was a member of both the varsity football and wrestling teams. Mr. Farina also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School.
