June 7, 2006:  James L. Balsillie, Chairman and Co-CEO, Research In Motion (RIM), led a list of technology company executives and managers who came together to network and thank their public sector counterparts at the sold out AeA Annual Technology for Government (T4G) Dinner.

Mr. Balsillie’s keynote address praised the U.S. government CIOs for their leadership in adopting innovative technologies. Earlier in the day, the AeA Board of Directors split into nine teams and held over 40 lobby visits with key members of Congress and visited the White House to discuss U.S. Competitiveness issues. The entire Board was also briefed by House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), House Science Committee Chairman Sherwood Boehlert (R-NY), House Subcommittee on Capital Markets Chairman Richard Baker (R-LA), and House Subcommittee on Appropriations for Science Chairman Frank Wolfe (R-VA).
