Regis McKenna, considered the marketing
guru of Silicon Valley, is a well-known technology marketing consultant,
advisor to entrepreneurs, venture capitalist and author. Over the past 30
years, he advised and consulted many of the leading Silicon Valley
entrepreneurs helping them develop their marketing infrastructures. For
the past twenty years, Mr. McKenna also consulted on strategic marketing and
business issues to industrial, consumer, transportation, healthcare and
financial firms in the United States, Japan, and Europe. Mr. McKenna continues
to be involved in high tech start-up companies through his venture
activities.

Moderator:
John Occhipinti has extensive experience in
enterprise software technology, marketing, and sales. As Managing Director
of Woodside Fund, Mr. Occhipinti dedicates his expertise to the
development of ventures in the enterprise software sector. Mr. Occhipinti
serves on the Board of Directors of Borderware (messaging security
software), and Tacit Software (enterprise expertise automation software),
and is an active board observer at Intalio (business process management
software) and Intelligent Markets (financial services software).
Prior to joining Woodside Fund, Mr.
Occhipinti was an executive at Netscape Communications. Mr. Occhipinti’s
team led a team that drove the company’s first significant revenues, helping
launch Netscape through its initial public offering. Mr. Occhipinti
subsequently ran Netscape’s Electronic Software Distribution and Strategic
Channel Sales groups. During his tenure at Netscape, Mr. Occhipinti worked
closely with hundreds of early stage entrepreneurs helping build web-based
e-commerce and enterprise software applications. Prior to Netscape, he
worked at Oracle Corporation, marketing and selling large-scale enterprise
database technologies.
Mr. Occhipinti has an MBA from the University
of California, Berkeley, Walter A. Haas School of Business, and a BA from
the University of California, Berkeley. He currently serves on the Board of
Directors at Trinity School. Mr. Occhipinti enjoys tennis, skiing, golf, and
spending time with his family.

Panelists:
Wayne Cantwell joined Crescendo Ventures in
early 2003 after spending nearly 20 years in the semiconductor and SIP
industries. Immediately prior to Crescendo, Mr. Cantwell served as President
and CEO of inSilicon Corporation where he led the company through an IPO and
several successful acquisitions. Before assuming the role of CEO at
inSilicon, he was responsible for overseeing Phoenix Technologies' worldwide
field operations where he grew the organization to over 400 people and $125
million in globally distributed business. Mr. Cantwell has extensive
international experience, having run operations in Japan, Taiwan, and Europe
but has spent most of the last seven years based in the Bay Area. Prior to
his role with Phoenix Technologies, Mr. Cantwell held various sales and
engineering positions with Intel Corporation and NEC Corporation. At
Crescendo, Mr. Cantwell is focused on working with companies in the
semiconductor, SIP and technical software arenas as well as providing
operational experience and support to Crescendo's portfolio companies.

Paul Dali

Paul C.
Dali is a founder and the managing principal of Dali, Hook. Prior to this
venture, he was founder and managing general partner of Convergence Partners
and a general partner of Nazem & Co. and 3i Ventures.
Mr. Dali
is a successful, progressive and visionary investor who was responsible for
backing one of the first companies to put sound on computers (MediaVision),
and one of the first companies to use the Internet for enterprise level
network security and updates (Cybermedia). Because of his operating
background, experience and current business conditions, Mr. Dali is focusing
on enterprise software and the "real time enterprise".
Prior to
his career in venture capital, he had 23 years of operating experience that
included building Regis McKenna into the largest high tech marketing and
communications company as its CEO, and serving as vice president and general
manager of the PC Division of Apple Computer and chairman of its marketing
council.
Both his
operating and venture capital background have made Mr. Dali an invaluable
member of the board of directors, or board of advisors, on which he
currently serves, which include Blazent, BroadWare Technologies, Candera,
iPolicy, Nuasis, UltraDots and Webify. He was also a board member of
Cybermedia, MediaVision, Storm Software, @POS and Repeater Technology, all
previously public companies. His experience and reputation as the "Godfather
of Multimedia VC Business" (Red Herring, June 1993) has made him a
sought-after speaker on marketing, entrepreneurism and venture capital. Mr.
Dali has a BS degree in finance from California State University.

Robert Keiser
Senior Research Manager

Robert
Keiser is a Senior Research Manager-Capital Markets with the Thomson
Financial Research Group located in NYC, NY. His experience spans almost all
areas of the capital markets spectrum including the private equity, fixed
income, foreign exchange and commodity markets. As a member of the Thomson
Research Group, Mr. Keiser's current responsibilities include monitoring
developments in the venture capital market as recorded on the Thomson
VentureXpert database, and then analyzing identified trends within the
context of the larger macro economy. Mr. Keiser was awarded a BA degree with
a double major in economics and English from
Rutgers
College,
Rutgers University in 1983.

Peter Moran
General Partner

Peter Moran anchors DCM's investments into semiconductor and component
companies. Mr. Moran has spent the last twenty years working in several
facets of the Semiconductor Industry, from front line roles focused on IC
fabrication at KLA Instruments and Hewlett-Packard/Agilent through
Management Consulting with McKinsey & Co. to managing a business unit at
Arrow Electronics. Mr. Moran received his BSME and MSME degrees from
Stanford University. He also earned an MSEE from Massachusetts Institute of
Technology, where he was a Leaders for Manufacturing Fellow, and an MBA from
the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Dino Vendetti brings 20 years of operating and
investment experience to Bay. His career began as an Engineer at TRW where
he designed Satellite Communication Systems. He then held management roles
at US West Cellular, where he led engineering and the transition to CDMA.
Mr. Vendetti then joined Qualcomm (NASDAQ:QCOM) where he led Product
Management and Business Development. After Qualcomm, he was Vice President
of Product Management at Metawave (NASDAQ:MTWV), a leading developer of
smart antennas for wireless networks.
Mr. Vendetti’s investment experience began as a
Vice President and Research Analyst at Dain Rauscher where he covered the
telecom industry. He later became an investing partner at Paul Allen’s
Vulcan Ventures where he focused on investments in telecom and wireless.
Mr. Vendetti earned his MSEE and MBA degrees
from the University of Washington and the BSEE from San Diego State
University.
