Mar 19 - 20, 2010 Dallas, TX	FIRST Robotics Dallas Regional Competition The FIRST Robotics Dallas regional competition brings high school students from the DFW area together to compete to earn a spot in the FIRST World Championships. The students have been tasked to compete under strict rules, limited resources, and time limits, and have had to design a team brand and build and program robots to perform prescribed tasks against a field of competitors. It's as close to real-world engineering as a student can get. Volunteer professional mentors have also lent their time and talents to guide each team. Qualification Rounds will be held Friday, March 19, and Finals on Saturday. For additional information visit dallas.txfirst.org.
