Stanford Professor
creates e-Learning Materials on Supply Chain Management
Professor Warren Hausman, a long-time faculty
member in the AeA/SEI program, has created a series of e-learning modules
for Supply Chain Management. They cover the following topics as applied to
supply chain management:
-
Aligning Supply Chain Strategies
-
Efficiency and Cost Savings
-
Responsiveness
-
Internet Technologies
-
Performance Measures
-
Product and Process Design
(to be released
shortly)
The modules contain brief
exercises (with immediate feedback) and animations designed to take
advantage of the Internet in delivering educational material. Each module
also contains a test.
Professor Hausman comments:
“These modules were created with the express intent of enabling motivated
professionals to deepen their knowledge of supply chain management concepts
and principles on a 24x7 basis. Furthermore, organizations can use them for
groups of employees and supply chain partners as foundations for change
management.” See
