The Executive Caucus
Executives of technology companies will now have an opportunity to meet
with peers to discuss current events and business issues that have major
impact upon the operations of their company. "The Executive Caucus" is a
new group formed by the Southeast office of the AeA (American Electronics
Association), a nationwide trade association for the technology industry.
"The Executive Caucus" will meet quarterly and each meeting will focus on specific salient business issues
affecting tech companies.
According to Randy Keith, Chair of AeA's Technology Leadership
Coalition, "AeA’s objective in creating The Executive Caucus is to reach
out to "C" level leaders in an attempt to create fusion between the
sometimes incongruous worlds of business and politics. The meetings are
designed to continually foster discussion around the questions, "Why
should I care?" and "What do we need to do about it?"
Attendance is by invitation only and limited to 20 executives who are
the CEO, COO or President of their respective companies. Each meeting will
revolve around a specific subject that will be a moderator led Roundtable
discussion.
