Announcing AeA Southeast Leaders, Members, and Award Recipients

The AeA Southeast Council recently tapped Jonathan Pine, CEO of Renova Technology, to serve as Vice Chair of its Executive Committee.  Jonathan will work alongside Jeff Katz, President & COO of Definition 6, and AeA Southeast Council Chair, on behalf of the Association's members in the Southeast region.

On October 16, at the national Board of Directors Meeting AeA's CEO, Chris Hansen, proudly announced Paul Domorski, CEO of Norcross, GA, based EMS Technologies Inc, as Vice Chair of the Association's Board of Directors.  The distinguished technology leaders of the Board, chaired by Peter Boni, President & CEO, Safeguard Scientifics, Inc, help drive AeA's mission around the world.

The AeA Southeast Executive Committee recently increased its expertise and leadership with the addition of Jeff Jarvis, CEO of Agentek, Inc.  Mr. Jarvis has been the recipient of two distinctive technology industry association awards from AeA and is a former board member at multiple technology firms.

To increase the value of AeA for other executives in the Southeast, AeA is proud to announce a new member benefit:

  • The Executive Roundtable launched on October 30, chaired by Sara Fernald, Principal, Trireme Consulting, and Jonathan Pine.

Congratulations to our recent 2008 AeA Spirit of Endeavor Technology Awards recipients:

I would like to thank all of the award nominees and finalists, please visit the event website for more information on the Spirit of Endeavor Awards program.  And lastly, I would encourage you or a member of your staff to attend AeA's upcoming program:

11/12/2008: M&A in the Current Capital Market (Atlanta, GA)
What is driving the near record level of M&A activity?  Will this trend continue?  The U.S. continues to be an active market for foreign investors, new trends are emerging in reverse mergers and international capital, are there other trends?

Sincerely,

Lesley Dubin
Director of Membership Development
