Federal Policy Committees play a critical role in influencing
the high tech policy agenda. AeA:
- Works to educate legislators, regulators, and high-tech
executives on the implications of government action on high-tech
competitiveness.
- Connects high-tech company executives and rank
and file employees with key government executives enabling our
members to have a first-hand impact on the outcome of key policy,
regulatory, or legislative actions.
- Publishes the most definitive annual study of high-tech
employment and other trends on a state-by-state basis (Cyberstates)
- Establishes and leads coalitions when
needed to help achieve high-tech industry legislative and
regulatory objectives.
- Provides use of
AeA’s Conference
Center, located
on Pennsylvania Avenue near Capitol Hill, to host company seminars
or training sessions, product demonstrations or launches, or meets
with representatives of federal agencies.
