New Tech Industry Data to be Released at Press Briefing

AeA’s Cyberstates 2002 shows dramatic drop of US high-tech employment growth

 

What:       Public unveiling of Cyberstates 2002: A State-by-State Overview of the
                High-Technology Industry
data. Copies of the report will be distributed, hot lunch
                served.   All media invited.

Study description:
Cyberstates 2002 quantifies the economic importance of the US high-technology industry. It provides the most recent national and state data available on high-tech employment, exports, venture capital investments, and home computer and Internet use. It also includes the latest data on wages, establishments, payroll, and research and development expenditures. Trends since 1995 are examined for all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
