
AeA Adds Counsel for Technology Policy
Attorney brings association, and private sector
high-tech experience to AeA
Washington, DC May 8, 2002 AeA, the nations largest
high-tech trade association, today announced the addition of Marc-Anthony Signorino to its
national policy staff. Signorino will be Counsel for Technology Policy.
As a member of AeAs DC lobbying team, Signorino will analyze and
provide legal counsel for a number of high tech policy issues, including Internet privacy,
broadband deployment, and intellectual property.
"Marc brings a fresh perspective to AeAs national operations
after working for the past two years in eBays Washington office," said William
T. Archey, AeA president and CEO. "We are confident that Marcs knowledge of the
technology industry, his experience in lobbying Congress, and his substantive legal skill
will go far to benefit our members."
Signorino has built a strong business management and legal counsel
background with work in both non-profit and private industry sectors. He served as Policy
Analyst and lobbyist for eBay, where he represented eBays interest in legislative
and regulatory policies before Congress and Executive Branch agencies. He also worked as a
legal and regulatory law clerk for the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB). For ten
years prior to NAB, Signorino served as Vice President and General Manager of Forum
Provision Co, Inc, a family food distribution company based in Boston, Massachusetts.
Signorino holds a
Juris Doctor degree from Northeastern University School of Law and a Bachelors of Science
degree from Boston Universitys College of Communication in Mass
Communications/Public Relations and Advertising.
