AeA Adds Counsel for Technology Policy

Attorney brings association, and private sector
high-tech experience to AeA

Washington, DC –May 8, 2002— AeA, the nation’s largest high-tech trade association, today announced the addition of Marc-Anthony Signorino to its national policy staff. Signorino will be Counsel for Technology Policy.

As a member of AeA’s DC lobbying team, Signorino will analyze and provide legal counsel for a number of high tech policy issues, including Internet privacy, broadband deployment, and intellectual property.

"Marc brings a fresh perspective to AeA’s national operations after working for the past two years in eBay’s Washington office," said William T. Archey, AeA president and CEO. "We are confident that Marc’s knowledge of the technology industry, his experience in lobbying Congress, and his substantive legal skill will go far to benefit our members."

Signorino has built a strong business management and legal counsel background with work in both non-profit and private industry sectors. He served as Policy Analyst and lobbyist for eBay, where he represented eBay’s interest in legislative and regulatory policies before Congress and Executive Branch agencies. He also worked as a legal and regulatory law clerk for the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB). For ten years prior to NAB, Signorino served as Vice President and General Manager of Forum Provision Co, Inc, a family food distribution company based in Boston, Massachusetts.

Signorino holds a Juris Doctor degree from Northeastern University School of Law and a Bachelors of Science degree from Boston University’s College of Communication in Mass Communications/Public Relations and Advertising.
