San Diego, CA (April 29, 2008) – Six
companies from San Diego will present to investors at the 10th Annual AeA Micro
Cap Financial Conference. Up to 100 companies representing 25 states will
present at the conference. This year for the first time, the conference will
feature a track on alternative energy/green tech companies, including a panel
discussion hosted by Needham & Company, LLC. AeA, the nation’s largest high-tech
trade association, will host the conference from May 4-6 at the Monterey Plaza
Hotel in Monterey, California.
“The unique, neutral format at AeA’s Micro Cap Financial Conference allows
high-tech executives to connect with investors and pair off for intimate
discussions about various technologies, strategic missions, trend analyses, and
investment potential,” said Kevin Carroll, Executive Director, AeA San Diego
Council. “The presentation format is ideally suited for the frank, one-on-one
discussions that must take place to establish these important relationships.”
Companies representing every sector and region of the high-technology industry
will present their business plans at the AeA Micro Cap Conference this year.
Sectors include software, computer hardware, semiconductor, telecommunications,
wireless, defense technology, security, and medical devices.
Companies participating from San Diego include: Accelrys, Inc.; Alphatec Spine,
Inc.; Axesstel, Inc.; Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc.; Open Energy
