Santa Clara, CA (April 8, 2008) - AeA will
now be able to offer free IT training for qualified technology employees in
California, thanks to a $604,800 award from the State of California Employment
Training Panel. Under the new agreement, AeA will partner with Saisoft, Inc to
deliver fully subsidized, state-funded IT training.
“Technology is ever-changing, and Saisoft is the perfect partner to supply our
members with the IT curriculum they need to stay up-to-date in today’s global
marketplace”, said Elaine Sanders, AeA’s Senior Vice President of Financial
Conferences, Executive Education & Affinity Programs. “As a result of this
partnership, we can offer a valuable service that will be especially beneficial
to our small and medium size member companies that do not otherwise have the
resources for their own ETP agreement. We are thrilled to have received such a
generous award, and look forward to working with Saisoft in this exciting new
venture.”
Saisoft, Inc., headquartered in Irvine, California, delivers ETP-funded IT
training at no cost to companies with California employees. Using an innovative
live, online training method to deliver classes, Saisoft has trained more than
1,000 students from more than 400 companies since 2003.
AK Thakore, President of Saisoft, Inc. said, “The relationship will support
ETP’s Legislative mandate of training California employees to perform
high-skill, high-wage jobs, and reinforces AeA’s competitiveness agenda. AeA is
the ideal partner because they are committed to promoting California’s
technology industry and providing advocacy in Sacramento.”
Participation in the IT training courses under the AeA agreement will extend to
companies of all sizes. For more information, please visit
