announced today that Devin Whitney has joined its California Public Policy
office. With the addition of Devin, California’s Policy team now consists of 5
full-time policy staff and 2 contract lobbyists. Devin will be partnering with
the rest of the AeA policy team on implementing the overall policy agenda for
keeping California competitive for high-tech companies to conduct business in
the state. Specific issue areas include: tax policy; procurement; environmental
issues; and children’s online safety, among others.
“Devin's broad range of issue experience will bring added value to the AeA team
as we move towards restructuring lobbying responsibilities and embark upon an
exciting year ahead,” said Roxanne Gould, Senior Vice President, California
Public and Legislative Affairs. “We feel very fortunate to have him on board.”
“I'm very excited to be joining AeA’s California Public Policy team,” said Devin
Whitney. “I am looking forward to representing a diverse array of innovative and
dynamic high-tech companies before the California State Legislature, and
ensuring that California is a competitive and appealing place to do business.”
Whitney is a graduate of UC Davis with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science,
and most recently worked at the California Chamber of Commerce in their
