Eye On The Oregon Council: A Voice For Technology
Welcome to our new monthly version of the Oregon Council Newsletter produced as a blended local/national publication.  This is just one of the steps that AeA is taking to increase our efficiency during these challenging times as well as reduce the clutter in your inbox.

As we approach this holiday season, we understand that many of you face a journey filled with economic uncertainty.  We are grateful for the many renewing members and new members that continue to make the Oregon Council strong.  Our committee volunteers are hard at work developing programs that are timely and pertinent to the current business environment.

Our line-up of networking events and C-level Forums in the new year continues to focus on economic and strategic challenges as well.  We encourage you to take advantage of these opportunities to hone your skills, network with others and identify tools that might enhance your company's ability to succeed and be more competitive.  For more information about any of our events, please contact Pat Tolle at 503.624.6050 or patricia_tolle@aeanet.org.

Finally, in honor of our commitment to environmental sustainability and fiscal responsibility, we are choosing a paperless means of conveying our holiday wishes so please watch for our e-holiday card.  Best wishes this holiday season and throughout the year.

Pat Tolle
Participation in state government affairs (SGA) and the legislative process both locally as well as nationally has now gotten easier.  The Northwest Region State Government Affairs website is chock-full of access to policy, candidates, programs, as well as grassroots and advocacy tools.  It has truly never been easier to track issues and bills or to compose a letter to a state representatives.  In addition their is access to AeA SGA professionals for guidance and "hands-on" assistance.
