| URGENT - Action Requested: Senate Appropriations Committee set to act on Math/Science Funding - AeA is asking that you call and/or fax/email a letter to each member of the committee asking for full funding ($450m) of the Math/Science Partnership. View the sample letter. The Senate Labor/HHS Appropriations Subcommittee has scheduled a mark-up of the bill that provides funding for the Departments of Health and Human Services, Labor, and Education. Included in this bill is the funding for the Math/Science Partnership. The full Senate Appropriations Committee is expected to consider this spending bill on Thursday, July 18. Now is the time that members of the committee need to be contacted and asked to provide full funding ($450 million) for the Math/Science Partnership.
