business, is a critical component in the creation and execution of ideas
that the technology industry thrives upon. As we continue to build the
Southeast region into one that is internationally recognized as a haven for
the advancement of technology, it is essential that we take time to
recognize those among us that embody and display that Spirit."

TechAmerica (formerly AeA) will host its seventh Southeastern
"Spirit of Endeavor" Awards Banquet, on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at
the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, GA. The "Spirit of
Endeavor" Awards are open to the entire technology industry and will honor those
people and companies based in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama
and Mississippi who have had significant accomplishments within the technology industry.

categories of the "Spirit of Endeavor" awards. Nominations may be
submitted by either individuals or organizations. Each nomination must be submitted on the
official nomination form provided here.
Certain awards are to be given to individuals.
Others are designed to recognize an organization. Organizations are divided into two
categories, those that provide products or services based on a certain technology or
technologies (Technology Company) and those that provide direct services to Technology
Companies (Technology Service Companies).
Self-nominations are accepted and non-TechAmerica members
are eligible for these awards. There are no limitations as to the number of nominations
that can be submitted.
Up to five finalists will be chosen for each
category. The selection committee will include representatives from the
southeast technology Community.
Tables of ten are available for
