Since March 1992, Mr. Gibson has been a
director of a number of high technology companies and not-for-profit
organizations. He co-founded Sequent Computer Systems Inc., a computer
systems company, in 1983 (which was acquired by International Business
Machines Corporation), and served as its president from January 1988 to
February 1992. From 1976 to 1983, Mr. Gibson was employed at Intel
Corporation as general manager, Memory Components Operations.
Scott is a director of Pixelworks,
Inc., Electroglas, Inc., Northwest Natural Company, TriQuint
Semiconductor, and Verigy. Mr. Gibson also serves on the Board of
Trustees of Olin School of Engineering and is the Vice Chairman of the
Oregon Health and Sciences University Governing and Foundation Board of
Trustees and as a director of the Oregon Community Foundation. He
received a B.S. degree in electrical engineering and an M.B.A. from the
University of Illinois.
