Event Description

U.S. businesses are subject to an increasingly complex array of regulatory controls on the export of their products, services and technical data.  The increasing complexity of export controls and regulatory jurisdiction determinations coincides with a sharp increase in federal enforcement activity and a five-fold increase in monetary penalty authority.  Knowing which regulatory regime governs a particular transaction or situation is the critical first step in ensuring compliance.

During this webinar, you will be provided with critical information on the following:

  • Determining which regulatory regime applies in a given circumstance

  • Communicating with prime contractors and the government

  • Knowing when an “export” occurs, including deemed exports and e-commerce

  • Proposed new regulations on exports to China

  • Recent enforcement trends

  • Best practices tips
