Did you know France interprets "put on the market" differently from other Member States?
RoHS implementation is only weeks away and WEEE implementation is continuously evolving -- is your company prepared? Do you want to know what other companies are doing to comply and protect their company's European market access? Don't miss this expanded update and overview of the environmental requirements of the European Union and China.
Learn the latest global developments from AeA, the only association lobbying on IT environment issues at state, federal and international issues. Come hear the latest legal analysis from the leading WEEE/RoHS source, Allen & Overy, LLP. Receive RoHS information from the source, UK's TAC member, Steve Andrews, UK Department of Trade and Industry.
In this interactive seminar, you will learn:
- How to comply with EU and China regulations that require manufacturers to finance the recycling and disposal of most electronics waste
(WEEE
Directive) and eliminate the use of six Hazardous materials (RoHS
Directive).
- How to ensure your products are not stopped, or worse, rejected, at the border of an important overseas market.
- About the status of similar legislation in China, and in state legislatures, and what this means for the high-tech industry.
- How focusing on eco-design & energy efficiency can give you a competitive advantage.
- Best practices from your peers.
