Event Summary

AeA New England's Mining for Technology Gems at the Boston Harbor Hotel was attended by nearly 60 high-tech executives and institutional investors. The event was sponsored by AeA Associate member Knight Equity Markets, L.P. William (Bill) Archey, President and CEO of AeA, was the featured dinner speaker. Bill gave a sneak preview of a paper AeA is preparing for the new Congress, the White House and other important groups. The paper looks at some of the competitive challenges facing high-tech and the country and is a somber assessment at least in part.

Local technology companies met in informal sessions with institutional investors prior to the dinner.
