On December 8, 2004, AeA New England hosted an HR
Breakfast Roundtable addressing Employee Communications That Connect at AeA member company
Brooks Automation,
Inc. in Chelmsford, MA.

Richard Byrd, Vice President Employee Communications at Nortel Networks,
shared strategies for emotionally engaging employees in company brands. He
also discussed how to leverage technology to create an interactive, learning-based employee communications program. |

Nancy Sterling, Vice President Public Relations
at ML Strategies, LLC, shared her expertise in the area of crisis communications, where she has counseled clients in both the public and private sector.
She showcased several case studies, how important it is to keep employees
informed whether a company's news is good or bad. |
This AeA roundtable provided an excellent opportunity for member company
senior executives to meet and learn how to connect with
employees through successful communication in an informal,
intimate setting. Included in the audience were PR, HR, Customer
Service and senior management from leading New England high-tech compnies.
