Lewis is an senior
infrastructure architect on corporate assignment to the DPE platform
architecture team to lead field research of environmentally sustainable
architecture best practices inside and outside of Microsoft.
While researching field designs, he has published articles
with Microsoft as well as IEEE for Environmental Sustainability.
Previously, Lewis pioneered
the work on the Perspective Based Architecture (www.perspectivebasedarchitecture.com)
and published a PBA article for the Architecture Journal worked with IASA
International Association of Software Architects). Working with Microsoft
to develop and refine a senior vendor neutral architect certification,
Lewis is on the Microsoft Certified Architect board of advisors for the
Microsoft Certified Architect program.
Before, Microsoft, Lewis
worked for Sun Microsystems for five years in the advanced internet
practice for large scale data center architectures, as well as worked for
Digital Equipment Corporation. Before Digital, Lewis designed analytical
IT solutions for BFI recycling centers. He is the co-author of one book,
multiple papers and is a Microsoft Certified Architect: Infrastructure.
