Tuesday, February 10, 2009 ~ Washington, DC

AeA, ITAA, GEIA and CSIA have merged to form TechAmerica, the largest and strongest voice and resource for technology in the United States.  Together, we are the industry's leading trade association, offering companies a broader array of programs and services.

On February 10, TechAmerica was featured in a reception at the new U.S. Capitol Visitors Center in Washington, DC.  The event was hosted by Rep. Anna Eshoo (D-CA) and included remarks by Paul Otellini, President & CEO, Intel Corporation. Mr. Otellini shared Intel's news, announced earlier that day, of their plans to invest $7B over the next two years in U.S. manufacturing facilities.  Over 150 guests attended the reception, including 15 Members of Congress.

For additional information on TechAmerica's public policy agenda, please contact Josh Lamel or John Palafoutas
