After
a brief legislative briefing by Dick Kip, Lobbyist, AeA Florida Council,
the attendees split up into groups of four and headed over to the capital
for targeted lobby visits. View some of the issues that we brought to the

On Friday,
April 1st, we convened at the Senate Office Building to hear from targeted
State Agency CIOs
Brenda Owens,
CIO, FDLE and Herb Fillyaw, CIO, Department of Financial Services
discussed what their agencies have planned for IT spending in FY2005-6.
They also provided a valuable candid discussion on do's and don'ts of
doing business with the state agencies.
