Michaela Muranova
Director of International Environment and Trade Policy
AeA Washington, DC


Michaela covers international environmental and trade policy issues affecting AeA member companies and the overall hi-tech sector. In her capacity, Michaela monitors global environmental regulations by constant communication with foreign government agencies and associations, as well as member companies affected by these regulations. On the trade front, Michaela covers AeA trade policy, advocating AeA international affairs positions to Congress to enhance member companies’ global market access. Prior to joining AeA in December of 2006, Michaela worked at the Telecommunications Industry Association(TIA), as a Manager of Government Affairs, overseeing international affairs agenda and covering domestic competitiveness and innovation efforts. Before joining TIA, Michaela worked at the Washington International Trade Association (WITA), supporting the Executive Director in organizing trade policy and diplomatic events. Michaela received her Master’s Degree in Economic Policy and Administration from Masaryk University in the Czech Republic .
