As Cisco’s senior manager for regulatory affairs, Joe is responsible for tracking and interpreting worldwide product environmental regulations to ensure unrestricted access to global markets. He also contributes to the development of Cisco’s stewardship policies & compliance standards, and represents Cisco in worldwide trade & standards associations such as EIA, AeA, iNEMI, EICTA and IEC. Before joining Cisco in 2005, Joe was environmental compliance manager for Microsoft's Xbox and hardware products group, and over the past 20 years has managed manufacturing and regulatory affairs at major companies including Mobil, Boeing and Exponent Corporations. He is a member of the International Electrotechnical Commission Committee on Environmental Standardization, Co-chair of the iNEMI Environmentally Conscious Electronics Committee, and former regional director of the American Waste Management Association.
