A.J. Guikema is a consultant with Tetra Tech specializing in environmental compliance.  Mr. Guikema’s background is in chemistry and chemical engineering; he has advanced degrees and broad industry experience in both disciplines.  Earlier in his career, he consulted on industrial environmental regulatory compliance, environmental modeling, and design of wastewater management and pollution control systems.

Since 2000, he has focused largely on product compliance issues.  He designs, implements and manages turnkey RoHS (Restriction on Hazardous Substances) and ELV (End of Life Vehicles) compliance programs for the electronics and automotive industries.  He is currently managing a number of such turnkey compliance programs at the corporate level for several electronics OEMs.
