Dr. Bettina Enderle

Allen & Overy LLP


Biography

Counsel at Allen & Overy LLP, Frankfurt, leading the Environmental Law Team and recommended for Environmental Law in Germany.

Career
After eight years with Allen & Overy LLP, Bettina Enderle handles all aspects of European and German Environmental Law including environmental permits, waste issues, chemicals and products regulations. She is also experienced in administrative proceedings and litigation before the administrative courts up to the European Court of Justice. 

Prior to her career as a lawyer she carried out research and lectured at the universities of Freiburg and Bielefeld where she concentrated on public commercial law (Öffentliches Wirtschaftsrecht) and privatizations. She has been regularly advising the Electronic Industry on product and waste regulations such as the RoHS-, WEEE- and EuP-Directives as well as on the impacts of the new European Regulation on the Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals (REACH). 

Ms. Enderle regularly publishes and gives presentations on environmental law subjects. She is a member of the German Society of Environmental Law.
