AeA members' usage is tracked to provide credit towards your annual membership dues.  The credits are given for the following usage amounts:

Loss Damage Waiver
When you rent and decline the Loss Damage Waiver option, your responsibility for loss of, or damage to, an Avis vehicle is limited to $5,000 (provided the terms of the rental agreement have not been violated).

By mentioning your AWD number with every qualifying rental from Avis, your travelers receive upwards of  50 miles per day bonus points from participating airline programs and current travel partners.
