Digital Technology Forum - June 9 & 10, Newport Beach
Our friends at OCTANe are hosting the Southern California Digital
Technology Forum on June 9 - 10. Join 400+ people from over 150 companies

AeA OC Global Connect - Vietnam: The New China, Why It's So Attractive -
June 10, 5:30 PM at Chapman University
On Tuesday evening, immediately following the Southern California Digital
Technology Forum, head out to Chapman University where AeA is hosting an
OC Global Connect event Vietnam: The New China, Why it's so attractive.
Vietnam has a fast rising GDP and supports direct foreign investment. It
has a low cost but highly skilled and dedicated labor market with a stable
governmental infrastructure. On the market side, it has a rapidly growing
middle and upper class with substantial disposable income. If your company
is considering off shoring manufacturing and/or expanding to new markets,

AeA Policy Matters - CA IT Procurement Town Hall Meeting - June 13, 11:30
AM at Crowell & Moring in Irvine
We have a panel of California State officials who want to how they can
better work with IT and technology vendors. Secretary Rosario Marin will
provide opening remarks and AeA Senior Vice President Roxanne Gould will
serve as moderator. The panel may include: Teri Takai, State CIO; P. K.
Agarwal, Director of the Department of Technology Services; Will Bush,
Director of the Department of General Services; Will Semmes, Chief Deputy
Director of the Department of General Services; and Adrian Farley, Deputy
Director, Procurement, of the Department of General Services. This is an

AeA Executive Connect - HR Roundtable - June 17, 7:30 AM at EADS North
American Defense & Test Services in Irvine
Through education and the peer-to-peer exchange of information, AeA's HR
Roundtable provides support for HR professionals as strategic partners in
their company's quest for competitive excellence. The roundtable is
moderated by Bruce May, Partner at Stradling, Yocca, Carlson & Rauth and
Dale Hudson, Counsel at Nixon Peabody.
