In addition to being the leading technology industry lobbying organization
in Washington D.C., AeA also has a presence across the country through its
17 council offices. No other technology trade association has the ability to
get you involved in issues at a local level, where many of the issues with
the greatest impact on your bottom line begin. As your voice in Tallahassee,
we advocate interests on behalf of the high-tech industry. Our ultimate goal
is to ensure legislation and regulatory matters have a positive impact on
the issues that can affect your business.

Each year, thousands of pieces of legislation are introduced into the
Florida Legislature and many will affect your bottom line. AeA actively
represents the interests of the high-tech industry, working year-round to

- Florida High Tech
Corridor Council - The Florida High Tech Corridor Council was
created in 1996 and is led by University of South Florida President Judy
Genshaft and University of Central Florida President John Hitt. The
Council is comprised of the two universities, 11 local community colleges,
a dozen economic development organizations and a host of high tech
companies, and has the mission to attract, retain and grow high tech
industry to Florida’s High Tech Corridor.

- U.S. Senate - includes Senators, Committees. Legislative Activities,
etc.
The AeA State Government Affairs Information Network allows AeA members to
