AeA is located at 601 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, in the North Building.
The main entrance to the North Building is located on Indiana Avenue, between 6th and 7th Streets.
By Metro:
The Archives/Navy Memorial Metro Station is the closest metro stop to AeA. Once you have exited the station, 7th Street is directly behind you. Cross 7th Street and you will be on Indiana Avenue. AeA is on the right side in Building 601 on Indiana Avenue.
By Car:
From I-270: Take I-495 (Capitol Beltway) East. Take the Wisconsin Ave. Exit and continue southeast into the city. Make a left onto Massachusetts Ave. and continue to 7th Street. Make a right onto 7th Street and continue south to Indiana Avenue.
From Virginia: Via I-395, proceed north towards Washington and cross the 14th Street Bridge over the Potomac River. Make a right onto Constitution Avenue and continue to 7th St. Make a left onto 7th Street and turn right onto Indiana Avenue. Via I-66, proceed east towards Washington and cross over the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge, at which point I-66 ends and the road becomes Constitution Avenue. Continue on Constitution until 7th Street. Make a left onto 7th Street and turn right onto Indiana Avenue.
From Baltimore: Via I-95, proceed south to I-495 (Capital Beltway). Take I-495/I-95 East to I-295 (Baltimore Washington Parkway) to head into Washington. Take the Route 50 West exit and continue west into the city along 50 (becomes New York Avenue in the city) to 7th Street. Make a left onto 7th Street and continue South to Indiana Avenue. Via the Baltimore-Washington Parkway, proceed south all the way to the Route 50 West exit and continue west into the city along 50 (becomes New York Avenue in the city) to 7th Street. Make a left onto 7th Street and continue South to Indiana Avenue.
