As an AeA Orange County Council
member you
have full range of all of AeA's
member benefits including the use of our industry leading state policy
government affairs professionals in Sacramento and around the country. Each
year, over 3,000 pieces of legislation are introduced into the California
Legislature and many will affect your bottom line. AeA actively represents
the interests of the high-tech industry, working year-round to build
alliances with policy makers.
AeA represents more than 1,400
high-tech companies in California, ranging from the giants of the high-tech
industry to small software companies and Internet start-ups.
What is AeA working on in California this
week? The California Government Affairs Monday Morning Report is
designed to provide our member companies with a snapshot into the many
issues pending before the State Legislature and Regulatory Agencies that
have the potential of significantly impacting their bottom-line, and to give

AeA Orange County Council hosted an education summit with Rep.
Loretta Sanchez (D-CA) in Santa Ana. Kevin McDonald, Chairman of the OC Council Government Affairs Committee and Vice President of Alvaka
Networks, organized the event and Julie Evans, CEO of Project
Tomorrow, was the moderator.
