nationwide trade association that represents 2,500 high-tech
companies. The AeA New England Council serves member companies
in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island,
and Vermont.

2007
- January 3 - General Court
convenes; first annual session begins
- January 10, 2007 - Bill filing deadline
(original December 6th, 2006 date extended)
- February 28 - Governor
submits recommended annual budget to House of Representatives as
House Bill No. 1
- May 9 - Ways and Means
Committee must report out to the full House a recommended budget for
a vote
- April/May - Senate Ways and
Means develops budget / releases to full Senate for vote
- June 3 - Joint
conference committee to arrive at compromise language between House
and Senate budget versions; sent to Governor to sign or veto
- July 1 - Fiscal Year 2008
begins
- November 21 - Formal business
of first annual session concludes. Note: Any matter pending before
the legislature at the end of the first annual session carries over
into the second annual session in the same legislative status.
2008
- January 2 - General Court
convenes; second annual session begins
- January 23 - Governor submits
recommended annual budget to the House as House Bill No. 1
- March 19 - All joint
committees make final reports
- May 14 - House Ways and Means
Committee must report out a recommended budget for vote
- April/May - Senate Ways and
Means develops budget and releases to full Senate for vote
- June 3 - Joint conference
committee meets to arrive at compromise language between House and
