AeA’s Mountain
States Council, serving Colorado, Utah and Wyoming technology companies,
leverages the national and international resources and initiatives of AeA
for the benefit of our region. We work closely with high-technology
companies throughout the region to stimulate innovation, increase business
opportunities, reduce operating costs, and optimize their operations. In
addition, AeA MT States Council represents the interests of Colorado, Utah
and Wyoming’s high-tech industry to legislators and officials at the local,
state and federal levels of government through personal and collaborative
lobbying of high-tech business issues such as e-commerce, R&D funding and
education.

The Mountain
States technology community has witnessed growth, increasing diversity, and
heavy consolidation over the past several years. Our regional technology
industry strengths include: aerospace, defense and homeland security, energy
technologies, manufacturing – including semiconductor, medical devices,
software, storage, and telecommunications – naming a small handful. |
Mountain States
members spread from Fort Collins, Longmont, Boulder, Colorado Springs and
Durango in Colorado; Salt Lake City, Logan and Provo in Utah; to Cheyenne,
Jackson Hole, and Laramie in Wyoming.

Greg Jenik
COO
TAEUS International Corporation
|
Greg Jenik is the Chief Operating
Officer of TAEUS International Corporation, the leading
intellectual property engineering solutions firm. Formerly,
Greg was the founder, CEO and President of Jenik Associates
International, LLC, a global business management consulting
firm; and was Executive Director of AeA’s Mountain States
Council, the oldest and largest high-tech trade association in
the U.S. He was one of the founders of Voyant Technologies,
Inc. serving as President of Voyant Worldwide and Voyant Europe,
and Vice President of International Sales. Voyant was sold to
Polycom (Nasdaq: PLCM). Additionally, ten years were spent with
Lucent Technologies and AT&T, including Director-level positions
in Sales, Marketing, and Business Development. Greg has
conducted business in over 30 countries worldwide.
Greg holds
a Master of International Management degree from American
Graduate School of International Management–Thunderbird, and a
Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado State University.
He has attended executive education programs at the University
of Southern California and the State University of New York, and
is a faculty member for the University of Phoenix MBA program.
He is Governor Owens’ appointee representing the private sector
on the
new Colorado Statewide Internet Portal
Authority Board, currently serves on the corporate Board of
Directors for TAEUS International Corp. and Kayon Corporation. Greg has been honored by the Denver
Business Journal in Who’s Who in Technology, Denver Charities’
“Fifty Finest”, Denver’s outstanding “Forty Under 40”, and was
recognized at the Colorado Springs Celebrate Technology event
with
an “Infrastructure Builder Award”. He is a graduate of
Leadership Denver, a member of Denver’s University Club and the
Rotary Club of Colorado Springs, and has reached the summit of
all 54 of Colorado’s mountains over 14,000 feet in elevation. Greg, his lovely wife, Jane,
and their twin boys, Grant and Aiden, make their home in Colorado Springs. |
